The Aria Zob Steel Complex, under the management of Mehdi Jaberi, was established in 2002 and inaugurated by the then First Vice President in 2004. The initial production line of this large industrial factory focused on rebar, and its evolutionary path is detailed in the history section. In 2021, the management of this steel complex decided to invest in and adopt modern technologies to venture into the production of hot-rolled steel sheets. By the grace of God, despite numerous challenges and difficulties, in 2024, we successfully inaugurated the hot-rolled sheet production line with a capacity of 600,000 tons, which can be upgraded to one million tons annually.

This factory was established using cutting-edge global technology with the involvement of both domestic and foreign consultants and specialists, and it includes a unique production line in Iran. Based on conducted studies, the redesign of the production lines, which was aligned with market demand, allowed the Aria Zob Steel Complex to successfully produce and launch fine gauge sheets with high quality directly into the market without undergoing the cold rolling process. With the operation of this production line, not only have we taken a step towards the self-sufficiency of our beloved nation, but the shorter production process and significant increase in efficiency have also resulted in energy savings and reduced environmental impact at the factory.
